cclass is perfect for beginers or for those who want to re-learn the basic principles of pilates movement. in this 50 min class you will be taught the fundamentals of pilates, concentrating on isometric exercises using your own body weight as resistance. you will increase muslce strength and flexibilty, correct your posture, and create body awareness.
beyond the basics
this class covers a gamut of classical and contemporary pilates exercises done on a mat. of course we love a challenge at engage your core, so we'll mix in props such as hand weights, circles and balls to keep it motivating.
eyc barre new
engage your core barre class brings together principles of pilates and ballet. the combination of core strength exercises and graceful ballet movements, set to up beat quick tempo music, will give you a long, lean, and stronger body. think of it as pilates standing up.
yin & vinyasa flow yoga
yin yoga is a peaceful practice with positions that promote growth and enhanced circulation. vinyasa is "movement with breath," with more challenging poses to develope core strength, balance, and stamina. together yin and vinyasa create a beautifully balanced program to release and restore energy.
pilates flow
let's calm things down a bit. the focus of this class is to improve your alignment, breathing, and core strength. we infuse that with the disciplined stretching of yoga (our instructor is both pilates, and yoga certified) to heighten your mind-body connection. while the pace of the class is slower than many of our other mat classes, we still promise an amazing workout that will leave you refreshed.
pilates sculpt
here's a class good for any skill level. similar to our mat class but with the infusion of weights and other non-pilates exercises into the routine.
pilates re-mixed
take a pilates mat - add in some pilates balls, some poles, maybe some surprises, and a bit of fun. viola! pilates re-mixed. come check it out. There's a good chance you'll like it.
reformer
4 people + reformers + one-on-one instruction = an awesome workout.
you'll love the different range of Pilates exercises that can be done on a reformer and we promise you'll leave feeling like you just had the best workout ever. This is a semi-private session and all ability levels are welcome.
cardio jumpboard
this semi-private group class infuses pilates with an energetic cardio workout. You''ll experience all of the benefits of pilates on a reformer but we kick things up a notch. the cardiovascular component of this workout will boost your metabolism, burn calories and increase your energy. we recommend this session for any skill level.
interval reformer
this fast paced class will challenge your body as we move between different exercises on the reformers and reformer boxes. like push-ups? how about the plank? jump boarding? it's all here. you'll work hard but leave feeling like a million bucks.
turbo charged reformer
if you like a hardcore workout and pushing your abilities then this reformer class is for you. it includes cardio jumping, intense core work and a variety of challenging exercises to tighten and tone your entire body. come prepared to sweat a little and have fun!
