lisa happ
owner | pilates instructor
after taking a weekend pilates course on a whim, lisa was hooked. never really content working for someone else and tired of the social work field, she set a goal to own her own business and from that sprang engage your core pilates in 2008 lisa is mat, reformer
[ + other equipment ], and pre-natal certified through balanced body university's rigorous instructor certification program. having trained and apprenticed with acclaimed pilates master, zayna gold, owner of boston body, lisa will soon be part of a small elite group of instructors nationwide with the title of pilates master. in 2011 lisa taught at, and helped launch a new pilates program at the exclusive manhattan club in vienna, austria.
maria ammon
pilates instructor
after trying a few pilates classes, she was convinced it was her true direction. maria enjoys all types of training from spinning, bosu, m.m.a. to yoga. she recently started her yoga certification in addition to already being mat certified in pilates. she has extensive experience teaching at several large health clubs, a pilates studio and many community classes for adults and kids. one of her many goal is to always stay strong and flexible ...two of pilates best benefits!

cynthia wigren
pilates instructor
after years of doing pilates videos at home, cynthia decided to join a studio. she came to e.y.c in the spring of 2010 and immediately fell in love with the laid back atmosphere. her consistent weekly pilates routine has made a significant impact on her body – stronger, firmer, and toned. she is now one of our instructors. cynthia is mat and pre-natal certified to the rigorous standards of the balanced body university in california, and trained under renowned pilates master, zayna gold. when not teaching you may find cynthia running, horseback riding, or playing golf.
jodi lefebvre
yoga instructor
jodi lefebvre has been teaching yoga to adults and children since 2003. she is certified through the american council on exercise and the yoga fit foundation. she finds great reward in introducing children of all ages to the mental and physical benefits that yoga has to offer, to help them deal with everyday life situations. jodi likes to take an eclectic approach to teaching from the inspirations of the many yoga varieties that she's studied including: bikram, hatha, ashtanga, vinyasa and yin. jodi strives to help students reach the physical edge of their practice while maintaining a mindful mental balance. she is dedicated to guiding students to a greater level of self-awareness through her energetic and informative style. jodi is also an avid long distance runner and personal trainer.
ginny king
running coach | pilates instructor
using pilates as a way to cross train for running events, ginny found e.y.c and quickly reaped the benefits of both mat, and reformer classes. ginny is an a.f.a.a certified personal trainer with additional specialized certifications in zumba® and pilates. she holds a b.s. in nutritional sciences from the university of new hampshire and completed her dietetic internship at the beth israel deaconess medical center in boston. she specializes in clinical dietetics, sports nutrition, and food allergies/intolerances. she loves to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for all things food and fitness. ginny teaches cardio jumpboard, interval reformer, and is e.y.c's running coach. she is also available for nutrition appointments upon request.
